2014 Examination Results

Thomas Adewumi International College, Oko, Omu- Aran, Kwara State is happy to announce the outstanding results of our students in the recently released NECO BECE, MAY/JUNE 2014 WAEC and Cambridge results.

The Junior BECE results was an outstanding 99% Pass Rate.

In the MAY/JUNE 2014 Results, our students achieved a record 100% Pass rate in 17 out of the twenty one subjects offered at WAEC level. These included Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Account, Lit. In English, Agriculture, Geography, Commerce, RS, French, Government, Further Maths, TD, Visual Art, PHE, Civic and Food & Nutrition  with 99% pass rate in Mathematics and 90% pass rate in English.

A remarkable 98% pass rate Grades A to C and NO Fails in any subject!!!!

Our students also achieved a 90% Pass Rate in the Cambridge O’ Level Examinations. It should be noted that we follow the harder ‘O’ Level Course, whereas most schools in Nigeria opt for the considerably easier IGCSE Examination. We at TAICO believe in stretching our pupils academically.

Also at 'A' Level an 85% pass rate. Compare that to the 310 Independent 'A' Level Results of Private Schools in the United Kingdom published in The Daily Telegraph Newspaper on Saturday, August 23rd  then like for like TAICO's results would have been placed at 3rd (third) position out of 310 schools, many of them very famous names!

We congratulate the staff, students and their parents for this great success..... This is testament to the credibility and quality of our educational standards at Thomas Adewumi International College, Oko,Omu- Aran, Kwara State.
